ST. PATRICK'S DAY RACE WILL START AND FINSIH AT COINDRE HALL ON BROWNS ROAD IN HUNTINGTON, NY.

January 30th, 2012:  The Townwide Fund of Huntington is proud to have its annual board meeting at the Harborfields High School.  Joined with member agencies, the Townwide Fund shared its success during 2011 with $104,000 in donations to our 20 member agencies.

November 24th, 2011:  With more than 1,600 runners, the 2011 Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot race was a huge sucess.  Nick Ryan of Boston, Mass., took 1st place with an amazing time of 20:12 (5:04 pace).  The 4-mile run is a big event attracting runners from all over the country.  A very special thank you to all of our sponsors, including Range Rover, Super Runners Shop, and Borg & Borg Ins.
Race Chairwoman Bea Hartigan claimed this race was "the best race we have had yet!"

November 9th, 2011:  Rainbow Chimes hosts the Townwide Fund board at our November Meeting.  Rainbow Chimes is a big part of our community outreach to agencies.  Their work with in-need families and children provides a valued service for the Town of Huntington. 


October  29th, 2011:  The Townwide Fund hosts its first ever Halloween Costume Bowling fundraiser at 300 Long Island in Melville.  This event was a HUGE success with more than 100 participants.  The rain and sleet could not get our spirits down for the fund!  The Halloween Costume Bowl raised more than $4,000 for our member agencies.  A special Thank You goes out to Sima Ali for organizing this outstanding event.

October 11th, 2011:  The Townwide Fund is proud to present our disbursements to Huntington's Family Service League and the Huntington Dolan Center.

October 4th, 2011:  The American Red Cross on High Street in Huntington Village graciously hosts the Townwide Fund of Huntington's monthly board meeting



October 3rd, 2011:  Craig Levine and family are picked as the raffle winners for the Canon PowerShot Digital Camera from the Long Island Fall Festival.  Daughter Bella picked the winning raffle ticket and is seen below with board members, Alex Borg, Bea Hartigan, and Paul Dougherty 



September 30th - October 2nd.  The Townwide Fund of Huntington was in full swing at the annual Long Island Fall Festival in Hecksher Park.

September 20th, 2011:  Black and Blue in Huntington Village was proud to host the Townwide Fund's Third Tuesday Business Networking event.





September 17th, 2011:  Townwide Fund board President Michael Mulè and board members attend Cow Harbor Day in Northport Park.


September 7th, 2011:  The Townwide Fund Board is pleased to annouce the addition of Kay Blough as the Townwide Fund's new Assistant Executive Director.

September 7, 2011:  The Townwide Fund is proud to present the Pederson-Krag Foundation with the 2010 grant of $22,500.  The Pederson-Krag  Foundation Provides supportive outpatient mental health and substance abuse services and training to children, adolescents, adults and families.

August 2nd, 2011:  The Townwide Fund Board held its August meeting at the Suffolk YJCC.  The board toured the JCC's facilities and learned more about the programs and contributions it makes toward our community.  The Suffolk Y JCC provides a wide array of services, including infant day care, before and after school activities, family support and much more!



July 13th, 2011: Townwide Fund Board members Bea Hartigan and Jo-Ann Raia, along with Associate Director, Mary Timmons, presented the TWF's Corporate Sponsorship/Payroll Deduction Campaign to over 20 Department Captains at The Town of Huntington along with Personnel Officer, Lisa Baisley and Barbara Kaufer.  Having the support of the Town of Huntington, which employs more than 600 individuals, is a great boost for the Townwide Fund of Huntington's Corporate Sponsorship/Payroll Deduction Campaign. We hope and anticipate that this support willl encourage more participation by those in the both the public sector and private sector in the Town of Huntington. The TWF's Payroll Deduction Program generally costs nothing to implement. It simply gives employees an easy opportunity to "Donate Locally" and support vital health and human services provided to residents of our Town.


July 28th, 2011: Camp Alvernia's Jump-A-Thon!   Every camper (besides Senecas) will be participating in the Jump-A-Thon during their normal Rec Hall and/or Games period.   The Jump-A-Thon will benefit The Townwide Fund of Huntington, Inc.  A special Thanks goes out to Camp Alvernia's Director Ben Esposito and Brother Larry for supporting the Townwide Fund of Huntington.


July 6th, 2011:  The Family Service League was proud to host the Townwide Fund of Huntington's board meeting.  FSL, member agency, has been assisting Huntington residents since 1926.

June 7th, 2011:  The Visiting Nurse Services and Hospice Care of Suffolk County host the Townwide Fund of Huntington's monthly board meeting.  Their newly renovated facility has been helping Huntington residents and families since 1952.   


May 11th, 2011:  The Townwide Fund of Huntington is happy to support the Bristal Assisted Living at East Northport for their grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony.  Director, Marlo Signoracci met with Townwide Fund board member, Melanie Mazzeo and Mary Timmons.


May 6th, 2011:  Michael Mulè meets with the Town of Huntington about the Townwide Fund of Huntington's Payroll Campaign.  The Town of Huntington has always been a big supporter of the Fund.

May 4th, 2011: The Helen Keller Foundation hosts the Townwide Fund monthly board meeting.  Director Debbie Costa presents Michael Mule with a wreath of appriciation.


May 3rd, 2011: The Townwide Fund of Huntington met with GR Reid Associates to encourage their participation in the payroll deduction campaign.

April 6th, 2011: Long Island Cares:  The Harry Chapin Food Bank hosts the Townwide Fund of Huntington Board Meeting.  Long Island Cares Director, Paule Pachter explains how over 6 million pounds are distributed to the hungry each year. 


April 5th, 2011:  Board Members Keith Brown and Paul Dougherty present the fundraising campaigns to the East Northport Chamber of Commerce. 


March 19th, 2011:  The Townwide Fund held their annual St. Patrick's Race.  With over 350 finishers, their year was celebrated with great weather and high spirits.
